Tank Museum Saumur
There are a number of remarkable museums in Europe to stay a whole day where it is worthwhile to stay a whole day.
But there is only one Musee des Blindes, which can produce a tank collection so well -founded and sorted like the national French tank museum in Saumur.
Because of its geographical location it is extremely arduous to do the long way to the west of France. The journey to the U-boat bunkers at the Atlantic finally makes this possible now.
The collection deals with historical as also contemporary exhibits. In nine departments you can find ultimate insights to the respective epoch or level of technology. All exhibited vehicles are original models, no after-buildings. In the hall "Campagne de France 1940" all tanks of the French army from that year are on display.
