Submarines and tanks were the primary players in the maritime and terrestrial battles of World War II. Brittany was the launch location of the German "wolf pack" during World War II. This is a unique opportunity to research the impressive German U-Boot bunkers.And in Saumur there is one of the best tank museums in the world.

Travel from Cologne to Mont St Michel. Check in to Hotel La Mere Poulard right on top of the incredible Mont Saint Michel Visit Mont St Michel and enjoy a spectacular dinner at the La Mere Poulard. |

Travel to Brest. View the navy arsenal and the U-Boot bunker. Tour of the old navy harbour. Visit the navy museum in Brest Check into Hotel Mercure Voyageurs 3 Dinner tba |

Travel to Lorient Visit the former HQ of Admiral of the Fleet Dönitz View the Keroman I U-Boot bunker Tour the former U-Boot facilities Keroman I-III and the "Dombunker" (cathedral bunker) Visit the big air-raid shelter in Lorient Barge trip Check into the Hotel Novotel Lorient Dinner at the hotel. |

Travel to Le Croisic and "Le Grand Blockhaus", the big bunker. Observation post and fire control centre for a 28 cm rail-mounted gun View the bunker and take guided tour of the St Nazaire encircled area followed by a tour of the area. Continue to La Baule and check in at the Hotel Mercure Majestic. Dinner at the hotel |
| Day 5 | Travel to St Nazaire View of the U-Boot bunker. Visit the Normandy lock followed by a tour through the harbour area and a visit to the bunker lock View the French diesel-powered submarine Espadon. Dinner at the Hotel Mercure Majestic. |
| Day 6 |
Travel to Saumur. Visit the Museé des Blindes, one of the best tank museums in the world. Continue to Bloisand check into the Hotel Mercure Blois Centre Dinner at the hotel. |
